Our Mission, Vision and Values
The Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities is charged with development and implementation of Vermont's Strategic Plan to eliminate health disparities in the delivery of health prevention and health care services to Vermonters.
Our Mission

· Improve the health status of racial and ethnic populations so they can lead healthier lives.

Vermont Agency of Human Services (AHS)
Our agency has the widest reach in state government and, I believe, the most important mission: to improve the conditions and well-being of Vermonters today and tomorrow and protect those who cannot protect themselves. Governor Douglas believes strongly in this mission and he has made the improvement of service to Vermonters a top priority of his Administration. Vermont Commission on Women
The Commission hears from hundreds of individuals each year regarding a wide variety of issues. We have created this resource guide to help Vermonters gain access to the resources they need. We have done our best to compile a comprehensive guide that reflects the Commission's priority issues and the concerns of Vermont women and families.
